Laguna Beach Residential Sewer Lateral Program Discussed Tonight at City Council Meeting

The Laguna Beach City Council meets tonight, Tuesday June 2 2015 at 6:00pm.
The meeting will be held at City Council Chambers located at 505 Forest Avenue.
The public is encouraged to attend.

Proposed Discussion Items Include:

The City of Laguna Beach Private Sewer Lateral Program.

The program is needed to reduce sewage spills in the City to better protect public health and the environment.

The primary cause of sewage spills in Laguna Beach is roots from private sewer laterals that block public sewer lines.

The City worked with regulatory agencies and the community to develop the program.
