The City of Laguna Beach and the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the next “Open for Construction” workshop on Friday, June 5, 2015.
This workshop is from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. at Nirvana Grille, 303 Broadway Street.
The Building Division will provide a presentation on “Existing Businesses and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Requirements” designed to help business owners understand and navigate through the Barrier Removal process for existing buildings.
There are many businesses and/or property owners who feel they are exempt, grandfathered, or do not believe they have any disabled customers.
If you or your business provide public accommodations, goods and services to the public, or have a business that affects commerce, then the ADA applies to you.
Business owners, commercial building owners, contractors, architects, and residents are invited to attend.
Complimentary coffee, tea, fruit, and pastries will be served.
Please visit lagunabeachchamber.org and click on the Events tab to locate and register for the event.
