San Clemente City Lifeguards will be hosting a free open house at Lifeguard Headquarters located on the north side of the San Clemente Municipal Pier on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
The San Clemente Pier is located at 601 Avenida Victoria.
San Clemente beaches can be a wonderful recreational resource but they can also be dangerous.
Lifeguards are on duty in an effort to prevent and reduce the number of accidents at our beaches, but they cannot do the job alone.
This week is National Beach Safety and Rip Current Awareness Week.
This week is dedicated to raising awareness of the dangers in aquatic environments.
