The Laguna Beach Festival of Arts has offered a breathtaking showcase for artists and art lovers for over 80 years.

Adult & Teen Art Workshops – Mosaic Workshop on Friday July 31 2015 (3:00pm to 5:30pm)

This class will introduce students to the “art of mosaic.”

The class will be working on a small tile, using simple design elements to create a unique piece of artwork.

Decorative tiles will come to life with the use of colorful and interesting pieces of broken pottery, tiles and small beads.

Come have some fun and get creative with mixed media artist Carolyn Machado.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Carolyn Machado has been a Festival of Arts exhibitor since 1990.
She focuses on 3-D mixed media assemblage working in a mosaic style.
With an eye for contrast and textural complexities, she cuts, assembles and shapes found objects into a collage.
She regularly teaches workshops on mosaic assemblage all over California.

REGISTRATION
$40 materials fee per person, per class.

There are three art festivals going on simultaneously in Laguna Beach.

Arrive early and allow extra time for parking.

All Day Public Parking:

There are 8 public parking lots in the City of Laguna Beach.

Prices : $10-15 all day with slight increases on weekends and holidays.

Meters:
The City of Laguna Beach has ample metered parking on Laguna Canyon Road and within the city streets.

Meters Pricing:

$2-3 per hour for a 3 hour maximum in the downtown area.

The meters accept most credit cards.

Parking is strictly enforced daily from 8:00am-9:00pm.

Alternative Trasportation to the Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts:

Free Shuttle Service provided by Laguna Beach Transit .

Laguna Beach Transit offers free shuttle service to the Festival of the Arts.

Laguna Beach Transit pickup locations are located are along Pacific Coast Hwy and Laguna Canyon Rd.
