Ceramic Mask Workshop Saturday August 29 2015
Create an African inspired mask in this fun and engaging class with artist Scott Young.
Using clay slabs and basic tools, students will form facial features from templates provided to the class. Learn the basic principles of hand building in clay and take home your own one-of-a-kind artwork!
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Scott Young, originally from Hawaii, is no stranger to teaching.
His credentials include being a part-time professor at Saddleback College for nearly twenty-years and instructing ceramic classes at many other Orange County colleges.
He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in art at California State University, Fullerton.
$40 materials fee per person, per class.

There are three art festivals going on simultaneously in Laguna Beach.
Arrive early and allow extra time for parking.
All Day Public Parking:
There are 8 public parking lots in the City of Laguna Beach.
Prices : $10-15 all day with slight increases on weekends and holidays.
The City of Laguna Beach has ample metered parking on Laguna Canyon Road and within the city streets.
$2-3 per hour for a 3 hour maximum in the downtown area.
The meters accept most credit cards.
Parking is strictly enforced daily from 8:00am-9:00pm.
