The City of Laguna Beach is holding a Joint City Council and Planning Commission Downtown Specific Plan Study Session Thursday December 3 2015.
The meeting will be held at Laguna Beach City Council Chambers located at 505 Forest Avenue.
The meeting will be from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
The public is encouraged to attend.
The main purpose of the meeting is to address the following key topics:
Retail, Commercial and the Conditional Use Permit Process
The study session will include a focused review of preliminary observations, key ideas and strategies that are an essential foundation to a comprehensive update of the DSP.
In addition, MIG Consulting Team will identify key topic areas and related policies within the existing DSP, and will provide their preliminary recommendations for updating these policies for consideration.
This session and future meetings play an essential role for MIG Consulting Team to obtain direction from the City Council and Planning Commission, and to identify the City’s priorities for the future of the Downtown.
Additional meetings will occur during the winter and spring to review other key topics including, but not limited to Parking, Urban Design and Land Uses.
