The Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival hosts Art Classes on their grounds on select Fridays and Saturdays!
The Sawdust Art Festival is located at 935 Laguna Canyon Road.
Friday December 4 2015 class is entitled Bezel Setting With A Gemstone.
Artist Annette Doreng-Stearns will teach the class today.
Today’s class is from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
Learn how to bezel set a stone, and at the same time get over your fear of the jewelers saw!
In this 3-hour class, you will create your own unique sterling silver pendant with a bezel set gemstone.
You will solder with a torch and design a shape around the stone.
On top of that Annette will teach the in and outs of sawing with a jeweler’s saw, thereby giving you the freedom to explore other new options in jewelry making.
