Laguna Beach Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA) is having a Paintout at Newport Beach Backbay Saturday December 5 2015.The Paint Out is scheduled from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
Join the Mentor Program and have your work critiqued during the mornings of the paint-outs.
Bring up to three paintings and be critiqued by a Board Member or a Signature Member / Mentor of LPAPA.
Today’s Mentor is David Damm.
PLACE: Newport Beach Backbay parking lot along “Mountains to the Sea Trail and Bikeway”
DIRECTIONS: Jamboree Rd. to San Joaquin Hills Rd., turn west toward the bay.
This takes you to “Mountains to the Sea Trail and bBkeway”, turn right.
Go 0.5 mile, (3 minutes) see large parking area on left.
Artists will be painting the backbay estuary and cliffs in this area.
Please take notice that restrooms are not available at the parking lot.
BRING: Check the weather report and please dress according to the weather conditions; water bottle, sunscreen, hat, etc. also please feel free to work in whatever medium you are comfortable with.
If rain is imminent, event will be cancelled.
