The Catalina Island Museum Holiday Open House is a Catalina Island Family Friendly Free Event from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
One of the most beloved traditions at the Catalina Island Museum is the Annual Holiday Open House.

Avalon`s Casino Theatre has staged numerous memorable events, but nothing quite like the Catalina Island Museum`s annual Holiday Symphony Concert featuring an ensemble from one of the top universities on the West Coast, the distinguished Standford Symphony Orchestra.
Led by conductor Anna Wittstruck, the specially selected ensemble, comprised of members of the Stanford Symphony Orchestra and Stanford Philharmonia Orchestra, will perform in the Avalon Casino Theatre on Friday, December 11th immediately following the museum`s Annual Holiday Open House. T
The ensemble combines Stanford University undergraduates, graduate students, and community players.
“The highlight of the holiday season!” said Karen King, owner of Afishinados, following last year`s concert. “Growing up in Los Angeles I had the opportunity to experience this type of music all the time. On the island it is a different story. Thanks to the museum for offering such a wonderful experience in our spectacular theater.”
Doors open at 6:00 pm for members of the museum and 6:30 pm for the general public.
Seating is first-come, first choice.
