The Ecology Center San Juan Capistrano hosts their Farm to Vegetarian Dishes For The Holidays Cooking Class Sunday December 13 2015.

Vegetarian Dishes for the Holidays Cooking Class is from 11:00am thru 2:00pm.

Experience a hands-on cooking class for adults, starting with harvesting fresh, season specific ingredients from the garden
and ending with a farm-to-table meal.

The Farm to Fork adult series of cooking classes teach you how to prepare dishes using seasonal produce
you would find at your local farmer’s market or growing in your backyard!

The Ecology Center begins with a sensory exploration of The Ecology Center’s orchard, veggie and herb gardens,
prepare delicious dishes together, and end with the enjoyment of a meal.

Join The Ecology Center in this hands on cooking class to learn how to utilize the rich flavors
of fall and winter ingredients and create delicious fresh food.

This class fosters community and promotes conversations about sustainable food habits.

Vegetarian Dishes For the Holidays Cooking Class Menu

Pan roasted brussels & cippolinni onions with maple cider mustard sauce
Handmade gnocchi with confit garlic & fennel frond pesto
Roasted cabbage steaks with parmesan
Root vegetable tian with sage & brown butter
Minty farro salad with persimmion, tangarine & pistachio
