The Laguna Beach Planning Commission meets tonight Wednesday January 6 2016 at 6:00pm.
The Commission meets at City Council Chambers at 505 Forest Avenue.
The public is encouraged to attend.

The Commission will discuss various permits to be considered for various structures located on the following streets.

Restaurant Permits: to establish and operate a 39-seat restaurant within an existing outdoor terrace area at 211 North Coast Highway (currently Inn at Laguna Beach).
Site improvements would include new kitchen facilities housed within a replica Volkswagen van service cart.
To accommodate the proposed use, a parking management plan including on-site valet parking has been submitted.
The applicant is requesting three parking credits for providing outdoor seating available to the general public.
A variance is required to exceed the maximum building height.

Taverna: Permits to modify the hours of operation to include the service of breakfast and to construct a trash enclosure and to install rooftop equipment at 222 Ocean Avenue.
A variance is requested to exceed the maximum building height allowed for the rooftop equipment.

The Deck at the Pacific Edge Hotel: To allow a seasonal tent from October 1 through April 30 for a three-year period at an existing restaurant and hotel located at 627 Sleepy Hollow Lane.
The tent would protect restaurant customers from inclement weather within the outdoor dining area.
