The monthly meeting of the San Clemente Garden Club is Wednesday January 6 2016.
Today’s meeting will focus on Medicine From the Garden.
The San Clemente Garden Club meets at 1:00 pm at St. Andrew’s Methodist Church located at 2001 Calle Frontera in San Clemente.
Health Educator Nicole Carter will teach us how to use common garden plants for first aid and skin care as well as to improve our health and promote healing.
Nicole has been studying and teaching herbal medicine and holistic health practices for 13 years.
Her formal education includes a bachelor’s degree and a masters in health promotion (now known as public health) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
In addition to speaking, she authored a DVD series and book titled Herbs That Heal and has been featured in national magazines and publications.
Nicole believes in the power of plants as healing agents and has seen miraculous changes in the health of people who have embraced the principles she teaches.
