Laguna Beach Parent Teacher Association (PTA) hosts their monthly Coffee Break Wednesday January 20 2016 at 8:30am.
Four-time Olympic Gold Medalist Janet Evans will speak about achieving your goals.
The Coffee Break will be at the Hotel Laguna.
Hotel Laguna is located at 425 South Coast Highway.
A $10.00 donation is suggested.
Four-time Olympic Gold Medalist Janet Evans will focus on the journey she took within her Olympic career and the lessons she learned:
You can do the thing no one thinks you can
You need to have balance in life
You need to have perspective
She will also speak about how courage and determination led to her comeback in 2010 to qualify
for the 2012 Olympic Trials at the age of 40.
As a mother, Janet’s lessons learned as an Olympian translated to life as a parent.
Her motivational speech will encourage parents to achieve their personal goals (as good role models)
and help their children be successful at attaining their aspirations.
