The Ecology Center invites all school garden affiliates – teachers, parents, and administrators – to attend a free hands-on garden teacher training focused on water education Thursday February 4 2016.
Seminar is from 3:30pm to 5:00pm.
The Ecology Center teacher training series equips garden educators and leaders with hands-on tools, and exciting lesson plans to incorporate garden education into your classroom.
Please join The Ecology Center in the garden for a free quarterly Winter Teacher training:

The basics of budgeting and fundraising for school gardens
Instructor: Dr. Meg Hiesinger (Director of School Programs at The Ecology Center)
In addition to hands-on garden skills, attendees are invited to take home a FREE rain barrel* as a part of The Ecology Center’s Get Barreled initiative!
If you’d like to take advantage of the offer, please be sure to bring a copy of your most recent water bill.
*The rain barrel rebate is administered by the Municipal Water District of Orange County and is limited to Orange County residents, except Anaheim, Fullerton, and Santa Ana. You will also be asked to share a photo of your installed rain barrel.
