The South Coast Water District (SCWD) will be having a Special Board Meeting on Thursday February 18 2016.
The meeting will be at 31592 West Street in Laguna Beach at 1:00pm.
The public is encouraged to attend.
The focus of SCWD Special Board Meeting is Tunnel Stabilization and Pipeline Replacement Project.
SCWD operates and maintains the Beach Interceptor Sewer and Tunnel located between Three Arch Bay and Aliso Beach in the southern portion of the City of Laguna Beach, California.
The tunnel is approximately two miles long and was originally constructed in 1954.
The tunnel contains a 24-in gravity sewer line that supports residences and commercial businesses.
The Tunnel Stabilization and Pipeline Protection Project seeks to stabilize the tunnel and replace the 24-inch sanitary sewer pipe.
