
The Laguna Friends of Architecture presents The Architecture of Le Corbusier hosted by the Laguna College of Art + Design Wednesday February 24 2016.
Le Corbusier, an internationally influential Swiss architect and city planner, was a pioneer in shaping modern architecture and the new urban cities of the mid 1920’s through the 1960’s.
Professor and art historian, Jacqueline Hahn will present a general view of Le Corbusier, his life, his style and his enormous legacy, from his buildings and his Five Points of Architecture to his graphic paintings and collages reminiscent of works by Braque, Picasso, Leger and Matisse.
