Dana Point is home to Whales natural migration path. Hundreds of Whales are passing through the Dana Point Coastal Waters.
Dana Point Festival highlights include:an opening day parade, Street Fair, art and craft shows and sales, classic car exhibits, paddling and sailing opportunities, Boating Extravaganza, sand sculpting, concerts on land and water, environmental activities, educational opportunities, interpretive crafts, kids activities, fun food, and of course, whale watching excursions on a variety of vessels or whale watching from breathtaking Dana Point Headlands Conservation Park.
Dana Point Festival of the Whales Parade is Saturday March 5 2016.
The parade begins at 10:00am.
The Parade begins at Selva Road and continues on Pacific Coast Highway South to Golden Lantern Street.
There is a street Fair at the end of the parade route at La Plaza Park.

Dana Point Festival of the Whales 2016 Parking
There are multiple parking lots throughout the Festival. Some of these lots fill earlier than others, but ALL lots are serviced by the FREE shuttle.

Park free for up to 4 hours in most Harbor lots.
Please remember, 4 hours maximum in these lots.
All parking lots are monitored by Orange County Sheriff’s Department so please do check your watch when you park and keep an eye on the time.
No matter where you park the FREE shuttle services all event locations.
Park at Doheny State Beach ALL day for only $1.00per hour each weekend of the Festival.
If you wish to take advantage of this pricing please visit the automated pay machines located in the parking lots.
From Doheny, catch the FREE shuttle that services this area approximately every 15 minutes.
Water Taxi – Back by popular demand
Daily service during the Festival will be offered between Dana Wharf and the Ocean Institute from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Round trip tickets are $5 per person.
Present your Metrolink ticket, OCTA bus pass or 91 Express Lanes transponder and ride the water taxi for only $3 round trip per person.
Park and ride and take in all the great sights from the water!
Your captain will share interesting facts and features about the Dana Point area and it’s fascinating history.
