Dana Point Oral History Reading of Two Years Before The Mast concludes Sunday April 3 2016.
The Dana Point Historical Society and The Dana Point Ocean Institute presents Two Years Before The Mast reading throughout the weekend.
This is a Dana Point Free Family Friendly Event.
With a spectacular backdrop of the brig “Pilgrim”, a replica of the historic vessel that brought Richard Henry Dana Jr. to this coast,the sixth public reading of the complete text of Dana’s book at the new venue in the Ocean Institute Maritime Barn.
The Ocean Institute Maritime Barn is located at 24200 Dana Point Harbor Drive in Dana Point.
Over one hundred volunteer readers will read for eight to ten minutes each, completing the entire book in about 15 hours over three days.
