The City of San Clemente’s Bonito Canyon Park has a new playground and the community is invited to celebrate on Thursday April 14 2016.
San Clemente has planned a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. at Bonito Canyon Park Playground.
This is a San Clemente Free Family Friendly Event.
The park is located at 1304 Calle Valle in San Clemente.
Playgrounds have evolved over the years to include universally accessible components, multi-sensory play, and challenging adventurous play.
Recently the San Clemente City Council directed staff to explore the possibility of introducing more challenging play in some of the City’s park playgrounds, including rope-based play structures.
The new Bonito Canyon Park playground equipment will feature these new components to enhance the play experience for all children.
