Orange County Emergency Medical Services is holding a Public Meeting on the proposed closure of San Clemente’s Saddleback Memorial Hospital in on Friday April 29 2016 in Santa Ana.
This meeting is at 9:00am at The County of Orange Hall of Administration Commission Hearing Room.
The County of Orange Hall of Administration is located at 333 West Santa Ana Blvd in Santa Ana.
The Orange County Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) and Emergency Medical Care Committee (EMCC) is having the hearing to ensure that community members and health care providers have the opportunity to advise OCEMS prior to the completion of an impact evaluation.
The Public Hearing encourages input from the community, hospitals, fire departments, and ambulance providers impacted by the closure of emergency services at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center.
Public comments will be utilized to assess the impact on community access to emergency medical care.
Findings from the hearing will be included in the OCEMS Impact Evaluation Report to be submitted to the California Department of Public Health.
All persons are invited to present their views before the EMCC.
