
The Laguna Beach Garden Club annual Laguna Beach Garden Tour Fundraiser was a success on Friday May 6 2016.
The projected rain eased off into clouds framing the Laguna skyline.
The Laguna Garden Club was gracious to share their pictures with South OC Beaches! Enjoy!
The Tour featured nine private gardens in the city’s Village neighborhood.
The one-mile walking tour is the Laguna Beach Garden Club’s major fundraiser.
The Garden Tour proceeds supports Scholarships for students at Laguna Beach High School, Laguna College of Art and Design and Saddleback College.
The Garden Tour also supports Laguna Beach Sustainability Solutions with school gardens, local beautification projects and environmental initiatives.
This year’s event showcased gardens at new and historic homes near Laguna Beach High School.
The tour route marked the edge of the devastating 1993 fire and features stunning garden growth and regrowth.
The tour started at Arabella Laguna Historic Cottages.
A complimentary shuttle bus transported visitors to the Gardens.
The tour included free refreshments, homemade cookies and an informative brochure with map about the gardens and points of interest.
The club also held a plant sale and a raffle of items donated by Laguna Nursery, Dana Point Nursery, local artists and businesses.
