Laguna Friends of Architecture Celebrates Architect Zaha Hadid Friday May 13 2016 at Laguna College of Art + Design.

A slideshow and talk presentation by Professor Jacqueline Hahn in special tribute to the late Zaha Hadid the world’s most famous female architect.

Professor Jackie Hahn, a LFA favorite, who has a special affinity for Dame Hadid, will be presenting the work and life of this special world citizen.

Dame Zaha Mohammad Hadid, DBE was an Iraqi-born British architect whose soaring structures left a mark on skylines and imaginations around the world.

She was the first Arab woman who received the Pritzker Architecture Prize, winning it in 2004.

She received the Stirling Prize in 2010 and 2011.

This is a Laguna Friends of Architecture Meet Up Event.

This is a talk and slideshow presentation at LCAD Studio 12 at 6:00pm.

Wine and cheese will be served in the courtyard under the sycamore trees before the talk.

Laguna College of Art and Design is located at 2222 Laguna Canyon Road.
