The South Laguna Community Garden Park is hosting a Gardening Workshop, What’s The Buzz On Bees? on Saturday May 21 2016.
The free event is at 10:00am.
The garden is located at the corner of South Coast Highway and Eagle Rock.
Bob Cosgrove of Aliso Canyon Honey, headquartered here in Laguna Beach, will demonstrate the basics
of bee keeping, explain the benefits of bees, and give pointers on fostering bees in our gardens.
Cosgrove teaches English at Saddleback College and in addition operates his beekeeping business.
He cares for his hives at several locations in south Orange County and markets their honey in local stores.
