The United States Lifesaving Association sponsors National Beach Safety Week in an effort to remind beachgoers to use caution in the aquatic environment.
National Beach Safety Week has been changed to coincide with Rip Current Awareness Week.
National Beach Safety Week and Rip Current Awareness Week begin the first Sunday of June and end seven (7) days later on the following Sunday.
