Laguna Art Museum Children’s Summer Art Camps continue Monday August 1 2016.
There are multiple weekly sessions for your child to be inspired, to be creative and to have fun!

The Elements of Art Summer Camps explore the elements of line, shape, form, space, color, and texture in art.

Students get to create work in a variety of media while being inspired by the exhibitions on view.

Camps are open to ages 5 through 12 and projects vary in complexity according to the student’s age.

Older students have the opportunity to concentrate on foundation skills in drawing and painting.

The curriculum is different for every camp, so students may sign up for more than one camp.

Open to ages five through 12

Only 25 spots are available in each camp

$125.00 for museum members at the Friend level and above; $175 for all others.

Price includes five days of camp, plus art supplies.

Camp 2 Art About The Sea Monday August 1 2016 thru Friday August 5 2016
9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Ages 5-8

Learning and fun come together in this ocean-themed art camp!
Students will learn about the elements of art through creating projects in a variety of media.
Join in to experiment with watercolors, printmaking, collage, and more at the museum by the sea!

Camp 3 Exploring Illustration Monday August 8 2016 thru Friday August 12 2016
9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Ages 9-12

Students will learn about the basics of illustration, design, and storytelling in this camp taught by professional artists.
Participants will create original illustrations in a variety of media while applying their knowledge of the elements of art.

Camp 4 Artful Animals Monday August 15 2016 thru Friday August 19 2016
9:30am-12:30pm
Ages 5-8

Try your hand at crafting creatures in the art studio!
In this animal-themed camp, students will learn about the elements of art through creating projects in a variety of media.
Come paint, print, and sculpt your favorite animals this summer!

Laguna Art Museum is located at 307 Cliff Drive in Laguna Beach California.
