Laguna Beach City Council will be discussing the Medical Marijuana Ballot Initiative.

Proposed Discussion Items Include:

Authorize the Chiefs of Police, Fire, and/or Marine Safety to sign ballot arguments against or in support of any local measures appearing on the November 8, 2016 ballot.

INTRODUCTION OF AN ORDINANCE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT, OPERATION, AND TAXATION OF A MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARY; AND ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION SUBMITTING TO THE VOTERS A CITY COUNCIL-REFERRED BALLOT MEASURE RELATED TO A MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARY Proposal to place a counter measure to the citizen-sponsored medical marijuana initiative on the ballot.

REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO CONSOLIDATE THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION WITH THE STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 8, 2016 Proposal to consolidate the General Municipal Election with the Statewide election.
