The Laguna Beach Sawdust Festival hosts Art Classes year round.
Learn how to bezel set a stone, and at the same time get over your fear of the jewelers saw with Artist Annette Doreng-Stearns.
In this 3-hour class, you will create your own unique sterling silver pendant with a bezel set gemstone.
You will solder with a torch and design a shape around the stone.
On top of that you will learn the in and outs of sawing with a jeweler’s saw, thereby giving you the freedom to explore other new options in jewelry making.
All materials are included in the price and no previous experience is necessary.

About Artist Annette Doreng-Stearns
Annette was trained as an architect at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in her homeland of Denmark.
As an artist she has her hand in many different mediums.
She paints Theater sets as well as paintings, is an art quilter, a jewelry maker and a sculptor.
She also taught handwork at the Santa Fe Waldorf School to both students and adults.
