The San Clemente Garden Club meets Wednesday October 5 2016.
Dry Farming: The Next Generation will be the focus of the meeting.

The San Clemente Garden Club meets at 1:00 pm at St. Andrew’s Methodist Church located at 2001 Calle Frontera in San Clemente.

Passionate home gardener Gloria Broming will teach how to grow food in our gardens with no water–well almost no water.

Gloria, a perpetual student of organic and sustainable farming practices, turned what was a hobby and volunteer opportunity into a business that has a client list that includes major developers, home and restaurant owners.
She also speaks to neighborhood associations and civic groups to generate interest in edible landscaping and urban farming.

Gloria received her degree in geography with an emphasis in urban planning from Cal State University Fullerton.
She has more than 20 years’ experience in project management and as a liaison with government agencies for engineering and architectural firms.

She is currently enrolled in the San Diego City College Sustainable Urban Agriculture Program.
Her work has been featured in many publications, including the Los Angeles Times and USA Today Green Living Magazine.
