This informative class is at the beautiful outdoor amphitheater at Lower Moro in Crystal Cove State Park.
Learn about trip planning, essential equipment, and safety from an REI expert.
Find out about our unique local ecosystem and practice some citizen science with the CCA.
After the class, you’ll find yourself at the trailhead to one of Orange County’s best hiking venues.*
This is a Crystal Cove Free Family Friendly Event.
*The class itself does not involve actual hiking, so you don’t have to go for a hike if you don’t want to.
Direction to Crystal Cove Lower Moro Lot:
8471 North Pacific Coast Highway Laguna Beach
Take Pacific Coast Highway to School/State Park traffic signal.
Turn inland at School/State Park traffic signal and follow signs to Visitor Center/Ranger Station.
There are two parking areas:
Proceed to the right Lower Moro Day Use Area –
$15 Day Use fee.
