Laguna Beach High School Fall Play, The Man Who Came To Dinner is ongoing Saturday November 5 2016.
The Man Who Came To Dinner is a brilliantly witty, impulsive play, which manages to combine the sophistication of great comedic literature, the frenetic energy of the silliest farce, and genuinely sweet attraction into one of the most beloved comedies of American theatre.
Filled with fascinating character roles winking homage to the intellectual and popular culture of the 1930s, this play is both a great period piece and a timeless comedy classic!
The production features over thirty student actors, including special guest appearances by El Morro Elementary and Thurston Middle School students, and a technical crew staffed by twelve high school students.
School-wide collaboration includes partnership with the LBHS Visual Art Department, featuring student designed promotional materials, show programs, and lobby art.
