Veterans Day Ceremony at Dana Point Strands Vista Park Friday November 11 2016 at 10:00am.
Dana Point Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9934 and the City of Dana Point will recognize all
Veterans for their service and sacrifices for America.
The Ceremony will be at the Dana Point Veterans Memorial.
Veterans Day 2016 Dana Point Veterans Memorial Ceremony Highlights :
The unveiling of the updated memorial plaques which list the names of persons who have died during the past year and
who were members of VFW Post 9934 or members of families of Dana Point residents.
Strands Vista Park is located at 34201 Selva Road.
Strands Vista Park offers free parking.
Veterans Day is an opportunity to publicly commemorate the contributions of living veterans.
Armistice Day officially received its name in America in 1926 through a congressional resolution.
It became a national holiday 12 years later by similar congressional action.
