The San Clemente Beaches, Parks and Recreation Master Plan Public Meeting is Wednesday November 16 2016 at 6:00pm.
The meeting will be at San Clemente Community Center.
The public is encouraged to attend.
The San Clemente Community Center is located at 100 North Calle Seville.
The San Clemente Beaches, Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting public meetings to get the public’s input and help establish priorities for the future of beaches, parks, trails, recreation facilities, programs, and services in San Clemente.
Pamela Passow, Assistant Director of Beaches, Parks and Recreation Department said, “This 10 year Beaches, Parks, and Recreation Master Plan will set the framework for decision makers in the planning, maintenance, and development and/or rehabilitation of our beaches, parks, and recreation facilities.”
The City has hired Pros Consulting Inc, a national parks and recreation management consulting firm to lead the project.
“The City values public input as it seeks to maximize your enjoyment of our many public facilities.
I encourage everyone to get involved in the process and share their opinions on current and future beaches, parks and recreation projects.
If you can’t attend a meeting, please share your comments online at the website http://www.scparksplan.com,” said Mayor Bob Baker.
In addition to these public meetings, the Consulting Team will be conducting a statistically valid survey to households throughout the City and interviews and focus groups with the public, as well as assessing program and facility needs and reviewing future demographic data, trends and usage statistics.
