Expect traffic delays on La Pata Avenue in San Juan Capistrano Saturday November 19 2016.
Orange County California Public Works will perform a series of temporary traffic stoppages on Saturday November 19 2016.
Orange County Public Works Stoppages will occur between 6:00am thru the early afternoon hours.
Each traffic stoppage should be approximately 15 minutes in duration.
Orange County Public Works is installing a new temporary crossing to allow large, heavy equipment and project vehicles to safely cross La Pata Avenue for access to project sites.
This will occur on La Pata Avenue between Stallion Ridge and Ortega Highway in San Juan Capistrano.
Traffic control devices (signs, flag personnel “flaggers”, etc.) will be placed in this specific location to alert drivers to temporarily stop and ensure the safety of the public and project crews.
Traffic will be intermittently stopped and will be relieved as needed to accommodate traffic stacking.
These brief traffic stoppages will be active for the day and are necessary for crews to complete the La Pata Avenue widening improvements as quickly and safely as possible.
When workers are present, please be mindful of the reduce speed limit through the construction zone.
Consider using an alternate route whenever possible.
