The San Clemente High School Triton Football Team became California State Champions on December 17 2016.
The Tritons defeated the Del Oro High School Golden Eagles with at 22-17 win at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento California.
This is San Clemente High School Tritons Football Team first Championship Bowl Title.
The City of San Clemente has scheduled a Victory Parade on Wednesday December 21 2016 at 3:00pm on Avenida Del Mar.
The Community is invited to a Victory Parade and pep rally to show support for the San Clemente High School Triton Football team celebrating an outstanding season and CIF State Championship win – a first in San Clemente High School history.
The Victory Parade will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the top of Avenida Del Mar ending in a pep rally at the San Clemente Community Center Grounds (100 Calle Seville).
Supporters and community members are encouraged to arrive at 3:00 p.m. to secure their spot on the parade route.
The parade will begin at around 3:30 p.m. and will include the State Champion Triton Football Team & Coaching Team, Triton Marching Alliance, SCHS Cheerleading Team and more members from the San Clemente Triton Community.
