UPDATE: Dana Point has cancelled this event due to the Pacific Storm.
Efforts will be made to reschedule this event in the near future at which point an announcement will be made to the community.
The next scheduled Spring Bulky Item Clean Up Day is Saturday, May 6, 2017.
The City of Dana Point is having a Bulky Item Drop Off event Saturday February 18 2017 from 7:30am to 2:30pm.
Drop Off locations are:
Dana Hills High School located at 33333 Golden Lantern Street
Palisades Elementary School located at 26562 Via Sacramento
Bulky Item Drop Off give residents a chance to drop off their bulky items for Free instead of taking them to the landfill.
Residents can bring e-waste, green waste, large appliances, furniture, and other bulky items that don’t fit in a normal waste container.
Many of the items collected at these events can be recycled.
Goodwill Industries will be at both Dana Hills High School and Palisades Elementary school
to accept charitable donations from Dana Point residents in order to help others in need.
Document shredding services will be available to Dana Point residents free of charge at each of the Bulky Item Clean Up Days.
Dana Hills High School will have on-site shredding services available.
Palisades Elementary will have secure document collection bins available to drop off documents for shredding.
