Restoring Green Abalone and our Kelp Forests is the focus of the March 2017 Science Night.
Local Marine Biologist Nancy Caruso will be speaking about the importance of restoring green abalone populations in order to keep our kelp forests healthy.
Green abalone are identified as a “species of concern” from Point Conception, CA to Bahia de Magdalena, Mexico.
They are a key component to a healthy kelp forest.
Nancy Caruso has helped restore green abalone throughout our local waters with Get Inspired! Inc to create a healthy environment through community involvement.
Learn about the many wonders that these creatures provide for our kelp forests and our oceans!
Dana Point Science Night is at The Dana Point Community Center at 6:30pm.
