San Clemente Casa Romantica Presents Richard Nixon Up Close at The San Clemente Western Whitehouse Thursday March 16 2017 at 7:00pm.
Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum Supervisory Museum Curator Olivia Anastasia’s will speak about President Nixon’s San Clemente years.
Hear the story of how President Richard Nixon and First Lady Pat Nixon fell in love with San Clemente and their vacation home, La Casa Pacifica (affectionately called the “Western White House.”).
Speaker Olivia Anastasiadis will highlight some of the activities that took place at La Casa Pacifica during the Nixon family’s ownership in the 1970s, from leisure pursuits to working days for the President.
This event takes places on what would have been Pat Nixon’s 105th birthday.
After the lecture, Casa Romantica will serve complimentary cupcakes for guests in her honor.
