“Saving Entangled Whales Along Our Coast is the focus of the April 2017 Science Night.
“Saving Entangled Whales Along Our Coast” is presented by NOAA Stranding Coordinator, Justin Viezbicke!
Justin will discuss large whale entanglement and share several key topics in-depth on the challenges of working in this environment, implementing safe practices, and the procedures NOAA performs for saving these magnificent creatures of the deep.
You will not want to miss this great opportunity to learn more in-depth on how NOAA responds to entangled whales and what we can all do to protect large marine mammals along the coast!
Dana Point Science Night is at The Dana Point Community Center at 6:30pm.
The Dana Point Community Center is located at 34052 Del Obispo Street.
