March For Science is a global event with over 500 communities presenting Earth Day rallies.
The March for Science is the first step of a global movement to defend the vital role science plays in our health, safety, economies, and governments.
The March for Science champions publicly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of humanfreedom and prosperity.
March For Science is a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.
San Diego Rally begins at Civic Center Plaza 10:00am followed by the March at 11:00am towards Broadway ending at Waterfront Park on Harbor Drive.
The route is just over 1 mile.
Science expo and speakers to follow at Waterfront Park from 12:30-2:00pm.
Public restrooms are available near Civic Center Plaza and Waterfront

San Diego Civic Plaza is located at 1200 Third Avenue.
San Diego Waterfront Park is located at 1600 Pacific Highway.
Recommended pick-up for busses and taxis: Kettner Blvd. and Pacific Highway.
MTS/bikes/ walking/carpool/rideshare encouraged.
Parking will be scarce.
Paid lots downtown at Ash and 3rd.
