The City of Laguna Beach is hosting their annual free Compost Giveaway Saturday May 13 2017.
Giveaway starts at 8:00am to 12:00pm (or until compost runs out)
This is a Laguna Beach Sustainability Solutions Event.
Compost Pickup is at 1900 Laguna Canyon Road ACT V Parking Lot # 16.
In appreciation of the recycling efforts by Laguna Beach residents, limited quantities of compost will be available to residents. (Proof or residency required)
This is a self-service event.
Please bring gloves, shovels, and containers (up to 5-gallons).
There is a limit of 5 containers per household.
A limited supply of bagged compost will also be available.
The compost is provided by Laguna’s contract solid waste hauler, Waste Management of Orange County and their green waste recycler, Tierra Verde Industries.
Distributions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
