The City of San Clemente Memorial Day Ceremony is Monday May 29 2017.

You can ride the San Clemente Trolley to the San Clemente Memorial Day Ceremony Monday May 29 2017.

The City of San Clemente invites the public to join community leaders on Memorial Day Monday May 29 2017 as they commemorate our fallen soldiers of war.

This is a San Clemente Free Family Friendly Event.

The program is held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the San Clemente Community Center lawn located at 100 N. Calle Seville.

San Clemente Memorial Day Ceremony at the Community Center Highlights

San Clemente Mayor Kathy Ward will present the City Welcome Address

The Sons of the American Revolution will hold the posting of the colors in full uniform dress

San Clemente Chief of Police Services, Lieutenant Mike Peters will conduct the Pledge of Allegiance

Keynote Speaker Lieutenant Colonel Luke McConnell (United States Marine Corps, Joint Task Force North, a resident of San Clemente)

Guest Speaker George Key (United States Army veteran of WW II and the Korean War)

Duncan Wilson and OCFA Firefighter Tommy Harris playing traditional bagpipes and San Clemente High School buglers Patrick Hangan and Ethan Trueblood playing “Taps”.

The City invites all local civic organizations to participate in the presentation of wreaths and floral ceremony.

The public is also welcome to bring items of memorabilia of their fallen to exhibit at the Memorial Display area.

San Clemente Memorial Day Ceremony at Park Semper Fi at 2:00pm Monday May 29 2017

The Marine Monument honoring all branches of the military.

Guest Speaker is Lt. Col Warren Cook, Commanding Officer, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines.
Music by Pete Jacobs Swing Band.

Park Semper Fi is located at 106 North Alameda Lane in San Clemente California.

There is pay metered parking in the area.
