
The City of Dana Point Free Family Friendly Science Night is Thursday June 8 2017
Recovering the Southern California Steelhead Trout is the focus of the June 2017 Science Night.
Recovering Southern California Steel Head Trout is presented by Cal Trout Inc.
CalTrout Inc., Coalition Coordinator Sandra Jacobson is leading the workshop.
Sandra has been working with the South Coast Steelhead Coalition participants to recover endangered steelhead and restore their habitats within Southern California.
With a doctorate in genetics and a penchant toward science-based conservation, she will talk about several recovery projects to remove fish barriers throughout Orange County.
This will be a great opportunity to understand the importance of natural resource management within San Juan Creek Watershed!
Dana Point Science Night is at The Dana Point Community Center at 6:30pm.
The Dana Point Community Center is located at 34052 Del Obispo Street.
Learn about current Science-related topics presented in a family-friendly format.
Generally, hands-on activities and/or displays will be present and geared towards children.
