San Clemente La Pata Fire Wednesday July 5 2017

San Clemente La Pata Fire started on early Wednesday Afternoon on July 5 2017.

The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) reported at 2:14pm on Twitter that a 15 acres Brush Fire at the end of Avendia Pico in San Clemente was ongoing.

Orange County Fire Authority and Camp Pendleton Fire are on scene.

OCFA requested another strike team and 2 Helicopters and 2 Air Tankers to make water drops.

OCFA reported at 3:00pm that 75 Firefighters are on scene.

OCFA reported at 3:00pm that the Forward progress of the Fire has stopped and that they will continue to progress to extinguish the Fire.
The San Clemente La Pata Fire burned 52 acres.

The Fire is currently burning away from Residences.
