The Newport Beach Free Balboa Peninsula Trolley runs Weekends in the Summer 2017.
This Free Family Friendly Service is on Saturday and Sundays thru September 3 2017.

The Newport Beach Balboa Peninsula Trolley is a new Free Family Friendly Sustainability Transportation Solution for Community Members and Visitors.
The trolley is intended to move people around the Peninsula without having to pay for parking or worry about finding a place to park.
It is important that the Newport Beach Community ride the Free Trolley for the City to retain and expand service.

Balboa Peninsula Trolley Hours

Saturdays and Sundays 7:30am to 9:30pm

Estimated 15 minute wait times*(*= Wait times may be longer due to heavy traffic)

Balboa Peninsula Trolley Stops

Trolley Route Travels Newport/Balboa Boulevard

Key Stops Include:

Hong Hospital
Lido Marina
Newport Pier
Balboa Village and Fun Zone
Balboa Pier

There are 18 stops along the way, 10 on the way to the Balboa Pier and eight on the return trip.

There will be a total of four trolleys operating each day.

Riders are welcome to get on and off at any of the stops along the route.

Balboa Peninsula Trolley Parking

Free parking is being provided at Hoag’s Hospital Lower Campus parking lot located off of Coast Highway at Hospital Road.
Hoag Hospital is located at 1 Hoag Drive in Newport Beach California.

Balboa Peninsula Trolley Details

Bicycles – There is a rack on the front of the trolley that can accommodate two bicycles.
Surfboards – Riders will have to hold their surfboard in an upright position and the surfboard has to be no longer than six feet.
Beach gear – There is space for you to load up all your beach gear.
Luggage – Travelers to Catalina Island can bring their luggage on board.
