South OC Beaches area of San Clemente, Dana Point, Laguna Beach and Newport Beach are experiencing a heavy amount of smoke this morning, Wednesday August 16 2017. The smoke is from Camp Pendleton.
The United States Marine Corps Installations West – Marine Corps Base & Air Station Camp Pendleton is reporting on twitter that forward progress of an overnight 60 acre vegetation fire in the 62 / NW area of Camp Pendleton has stopped and that smoke is visible this morning.
