Laguna Canyon Road Closure Monday October 16 2017.
UPDATE:3:00pm Monday October 16 2017: The City of Laguna Beach is reporting that Laguna Canyon Road is reopened in both directions.
Laguna Canyon Road is closed in both directions due to a down power line from the traffic accident between Canyon Acres and El Torro Road.
At 10:00pm on Sunday October 15 2017 the City of Laguna Beach reported that Laguna Canyon Road was closed in both directions at the 2600 Block due to a traffic collision.
On Monday October 16 2017 at 6:00am The City of Laguna Beach stated that Laguna Canyon Road was still closed in both directions due to a traffic collision.
Please use other routes to enter and leave Laguna Beach.
You can use Coast Highway at Newport Beach or at Dana Point.
Laguna Canyon Road had scheduled road work in the area that may cause traffic delays.
The City of Laguna Beach is reporting that So Cal Gas will be working on the North side of El Toro Road at Laguna Canyon Road from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
So Cal Gas is installing its advanced meter related equipment approximately 870 feet east of Laguna Canyon Road.
During construction hours, a portion of El Toro Road will be reduced to one lane.
A portion of the bike lane on both Northbound and Southbound directions will be closed between Laguna Canyon Road and State Route 73.
