San Clemente Toll Road Activists plan on speaking out at the San Clemente City Council Meeting Tuesday October 17 2017.
The San Clemente Grass Roots Group, Not My Toll Road will be asking why San Clemente needs to additional lanes on the I-5 Freeway.
The Orange County Transportation Authority will be presenting their Freeway proposal at the San Clemente City Council Meeting at 6:00pm.

What are the projected population estimates for 2040 that will drive the need for the 2 extra lanes on the 5 freeway in San Clemente?
At what point are the capacity needs high enough to trigger the 5 freeway HOV project?
Concerned on why the Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA) is currently conducting a Traffic Flow Study.
(They believe that Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) should be responsible for Traffic Planning due to the fact that they work on voter approved initiatives)
Concerned on why the TCS is conducting a Traffic Flow Study now, when the 5 Freeway Widening Project and the Widening of La Pata is not complete.
They believe that by conducting the study before all of the improvements will result in inaccurate “Construction Traffic” Data.
They believe that this inaccurate data will be used to justify the need for a toll road through South Orange County/San Clemente.

The San Clemente City Council Meeting is at 6:00pm on Tuesday October 17 2017 at The San Clemente City Council Chambers at 100 Avenida Presidio.
The Public is encouraged to attend.
