Dana Point Focuses on Eliminating Homelessness

The City of Dana Point is taking measurable steps to combat the local Homelessness crisis.
The Dana Point Homeless Population has been growing in recent years.

Dana Point Community Members have expressed great concern on Community Chatrooms and Community Survey’s about the Dana Point Homeless crisis.
The City of Dana Point Recent Community Survey revealed that responding to the number of homeless in Dana Point is ranked among the most important services the City can provide.

The City of Dana Point is coordinating with their Police Services and their Public Works Department and the City Manager’s Department to address the Homeless Crisis on a daily basis.

The City of Dana Point has partnered with Mercy House to provide part time Outreach Services to the Homeless population.

The Dana Point City Council has created a Homeless Task Force to focus on creating a sustainable measurable program to eliminate Homelessness in Dana Point and the surrounding areas.
