Laguna Beach Red Flag Warning December 4 thru December 7 2017

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the Orange County Coastal Zone effective Monday December 4 2017 at 3:00am through Thursday December 7 2017 at 6:00pm.
The City of Laguna Beach is on Fire Weather Watch December 4 2017 thru December 7 2017.

The Fire Weather Watch is due to low humidity of 5-15% with poor overnight recovery, combined with strong, gusty winds.

Winds are predicted at 20-35 MPH with gusts up to 40-65 MPH along the coastal slopes.

The windiest period will be Tuesday evening.

* Call 9-1-1 immediately if you see smoke or flames.

* Don’t drive vehicles in the dry brush.

* Do not use fireworks (which are illegal already in Laguna Beach).

* Do not smoke (which is also illegal in Laguna Beach).

Parking restrictions are in place for the Diamond/Crestview neighborhood.
