Laguna Beach Planning Meeting Wednesday January 3 2018

The Laguna Beach Planning Commission meets Wednesday January 3 2018 at 6:00pm.

The Commission meets at City Council Chambers at 505 Forest Avenue.

The public is encouraged to attend.

The Commission will discuss various permits to be considered for various structures located within Laguna Beach.

Proposed Discussion Items Include:

Selection of a Planning Commission representative for the affordable housing task force.

Laguna College of Art + Design (LCAD) Permit to establish and operate three artist studios during the academic school year and an art gallery during the summer months for students of the Laguna College of Art and Design (LCAD) at 805, 807-A and 807-B Laguna Canyon Road (previously Mark Timothy Studio Gallery).

Laguna Art Museum Design Review for updating the façade of the Laguna Art Museum at 307 Cliff Drive. The requested improvements include removal of the cornice trim at the stucco walls, removal of the existing sculpture installation at the North Coast Highway frontage, a revised window trim color, and new landscaping.

Permit to establish and operate a craft distillery with ancillary instructional tasting and retail sales at Pleasure Point Distillery 821-B Laguna Canyon Road.

Permit to establish and operate a candle studio with light manufacturing and retail sales at Laguna Candles at 821-A Laguna Canyon Road
